Our June 24 ,2013 meeting will be held at Gerard & Catharina Ansems,1593 Lakewood Road, Kentville (Steammill -West Off Highway 359) commencing at 7:00pm. We will be touring their patch and learning how they grew the 1616 and the 1727 in 2012. Great time to see just how its done!!!

The Wayne Knox Memorial Trophy is given each year to the AVGVG member who grows the largest pumpkin weighed at the AVGVG Glad Gardens Weigh Off. Wayne was an avid pumpkin grower and the Annapolis Valley Giant Vegetable Growers felt that it was important to recognize his important contribution to the organization.
